-CNC PLASMA CUTTING
What is it? CNC Plasma cutting is a melting(cutting) process in which a highly focused 40,000 degree F arc is made between the electrode in the tip of the torch and the base metal grounded to the table. A jet of ionized gas is set to a specific PSI and sent through the same torch. The gas is then swirled and forced out of a chosen tip size with an orifice/hole much smaller than the tip of a pen. The gas fully surrounds the arc of electricity to protect and focus the arc, but it's primary function is to expel material as it travels. This gas flow through the entire torch lead is also responsible for cooling the copper that follows all the way back to the machine
>Full 4’x8′ computer controlled plasma cutting area that supports clean cuts of up to 1.5″ solid plate,
sever 1 3/4 and will cut anything the conducts electricity. Smallest letters I typically accept are
1.00″x100″.
>Can take any provided file (.dxf, vector, .pdf, etc.) and work from it, or come up with and create an
entire deisgn one on one with you to suit your needs. (SEE contact for quote section for ordering details)
>Custom cnc cut parts or signs by default are recieved in millscale with the edges cleaned up to protect
from rust, however I also provide many other finishes – (powdercoat, paint, polished,
patina/intentionally rusted, etc.) – upon request at additional charge that varies depending on size,
coating and or tarnish.
>NEW: Square tubing/C channel + more! I am now also accepting anything that conducts electricity with
a flat surface facing up and a solid surface below to rest on the slats – This is everything from square
tubing less than 4.5″ in height to C channel and much more. Email for info on your specific application to
see if I can get what you need done. (This is helpful for example if you have to put a building/structure
together and want 100 square tubes with 3″ slots cut exactly 4″ from the top on every single one of
them. Good for fencing, sheds, boxes, carports etc.)
